"Celeron N100" for 700$? That's absurd, you can get a Raspberry pi tablet for way less and if you want x86 there are cheaper alternatives, maybe they're just a small team and assemble everything by hand that might explain the high price but 700$ is a little high

Arch Linux, they have the aur and it has every softwares I ever wanted for my computing needs that isn't easily obtainable on other distros, on Arch Linux I don't have to rely on flatpaks, Ubuntu store or appimages

It's from pirate special myth, from the number you provided and if my math aren't wrong that's about 8Gb/s, that is a lot of data to transfer and process every second, this is from 10 years ago computer hardware that's nut

I did installed Nerd font (JetBrain Nerdfont) with KDE's fonts management, maybe I have to enable it in Konsole?
You probably have seen Gnomify KDE, now get ready for Swayify KDE XD, this is not a Tiling windows manager I just like how Sway desktop looks while still able to navigate around with only mouse control. Software I used to modify KDE: - Vanilla KDE - Application title bar widget - Wofi - Image: https://wallhaven.cc/w/o5qkel

I tried it and it's works exactly like Anydesk, except it's 5 times slower than Anydesk at least that's on their server, I know I can host it myself but I don't think I have the skill to set it up

From what I saw Cosmic has a lot of potential and looks pretty sleek too, right now I'm using KDE it's a great desktop, but now that I have a second monitor it randomly crashes on me, I think I'll switch to Cosmic when it reaches beta.
Only using the 2.0 version for 2h but everything already works better than before and also pretty smooth too

I edited breeze dark color scheme to darker color everything went well but windows and header color revert back to breeze dark color when inactive how can I change this? thanks in advanced. (sorry for bad English) Edit: because I make a color scheme copy from default breeze dark and that's make some color not working properly when changed, I edit one of my downloaded color scheme and that works just fine

I only just switched to Linux last month that time I don't know what Wayland or X11 is and I just use Linux like normal without knowing I'm using Wayland (KDE), now since I'm already configured my KDE desktop on Wayland and I don't wanna do it again, so I'm looking for a remote desktop that work under Wayland not locally but from anywhere does anyone know software like that exist? (Sorry for horrible English)
this is my first time installed Arch without archinstall and it's not even that hard

Just like migrating from Reddit to Lemmy it's the same as migrating from Windows to Linux, there's shortcomings and learning curve and the more I use Lemmy the more I hate about Windows, because unlike reddit Lemmy is open source and open source softwares communities is more popular than proprietary communities and people like to shit on them (and I loved it). (Sorry for horrible English)
switched from Fedora because I lose write access to my home directory, Wallpaper: https://w.wallhaven.cc/full/3l/wallhaven-3lyl1d.png
My system: Fedora 40, AMD Ryzen 3 7320U
Previously used Endeavors, OpenSUSE, PopOS and GTA run 5 fps now on Fedora it run 25-40fps 1080 high
I got most of my games run pretty good now with the help of Steam compatibility and Wine now what should I do moving forward, win11 is a strong no go because I heard rumors about Microsoft locking bootloader with software update and I can't stand fucking copilot/edge, should I wait until EOL or do it now? I'm pretty noob when it comes to Linux but I know what distro I'll use (Fedora+KDE). Sorry for bad grammar English is not my first language
why? because it's not triggering an obscure anti cheat on a game I've been playing when using wine (performance is still the same tho), everything else is just work no missing dependencies and it's doesn't get in my way like other distros (I tried Arch, Opensuse, Ubuntu, Debian), just to clarify I'm a complete noob when it come to Linux so maybe if I know better I probably make everything works just like Fedora
I also check Smim patch on ELFX fomod
The only way I found so far is SKGE but it make water lod seam more obvious and make ocean lod purple and it's too distracting
After 3 days I finally got doom running but it's not running very well (both on high setting 720p), not just doom I only got half the fps compared to windows on every games I tried, I'm so confused right now and I don't know what to do. I pretty new to Linux any help is appreciated, this is hardware I'm running on: AMD Ryzen 3 7320u, Radeon 610m, Nvme, Latest Wine and Endeavors OS with vulkan
I really wanna ditch windows so bad but last time I tried Linux I got issues with gpu driver and I'm wondering if this laptop has a good Linux support
