Harris has clearly declared her support for a 2 state solution, meaning a free Palestine.
So when they say they won't support Harris, have they considered where Trump stands? Trump will gladly let the genocide continue, and let Israeli settlers take it all.

My $300 32 inch IPS 16:9 monitor laughs hard at my old $2000 19 inch 4:3 CRT.
If you are on a desktop, it's insane how both cheap and good monitors have become.
Still I absolutely agree, wasting vertical space is more annoying than horizontal.

Funny, because statistically it seems to be doing fine. Like Google searches for reddit have doubled in 5 years.
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today 5-y&q=reddit
I have no idea how it has developed since they closed the API, except what I read on Lemmy, because I had already closed my account about a year before that, because the quality had deteriorated a lot already back then.
Lemmy though is nice, it's a lot like reddit was in the beginning.

Some people achieve some sadistic satisfaction from denying poor people health care, even if it cost extra to themselves!?
In USA there is a sentiment that looks like they are trying to exterminate the poor, by letting them suffer and die, instead of trying to build a better more humane society for all.

The way Trump disrespects women in general, clearly shows he consider women to be inferior. He is the same with regard to colored people.
Trump really has that "master race" fantasy, and that a man is above a woman, and he probably considers it a traditional "value" that's been lost, when people of color and women were allowed to vote.
It would be sweet karma for trump to lose the election to a colored woman. I imagine it would be extremely confusing to him, only explainable by some sort of woke conspiracy.

No adults in the room allowed, is very clearly referring to all the people who claimed there were adults in the room to "manage" trump, preventing him from doing way more harm than he did.
Normally I agree sarcasm needs a /s, because of Poe's law that says:
without a clear indicator of the author's intent, any parodic or sarcastic expression of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of those views.
But in this case the reference should be clear enough, that anybody should know the context, and clearly be able to identify it as sarcasm.

EDIT: Added /s because Poe’s law.
But it's OK if you don't think it's funny to make a jab at Trump not behaving like an adult in this context.

If it's true he laced something with fentanyl and sold it as Percocet, then it's absolutely murder.
fentanyl, a deadly synthetic opioid that can be lethal in a dose as small as 2 milligrams
This is absolutely not safe to handle in an illegal black market, no wonder people die so easily. I knew it was dangerous, but this shit is REALLY playing with fire.

Intel Foundry scores $3B for defense chips
On a busy Monday, Intel also revealed it won up to $3 billion in funding under the CHIPS and Science Act to establish a secretive manufacturing program called the "Secure Enclave."
This is probably the saving grace for Intel, USA will not allow to be dependent on production outside USA, and AFAIK there are no other remaining US foundries left that are remotely competitive with a world leading production process.

If they all look at thin air, and claim there is different kinds of magical beings, and as evidence they say they imagined it, isn't it reasonable to conclude there actually is none of the magical beings they claim? Since they use the same vastly erroneous process to make similar extraordinary claims.

A dispute over how much profit Intel stood to take from each chip sold to the Japanese electronics giant blocked Intel from settling on the price with Sony,
Yeah that's what I thought, Intel simply isn't competitive. For a console SOC the CPU part eats about twice the power of an AMD, and the GPU part cost about twice to make, because it needs twice the die area to compete with AMD on performance. This creates design restrictions, and makes the system more expensive to build.
I'm surprised Intel was even in the game, they'd obviously have to sell at a deficit to compete. Maybe it was to prevent AMD from getting a sweet deal?
If Intel were serious about it, and had confidence in their technologies, they'd have taken a bad deal now, and improved their technologies to make it profitable later. But Intel already has problems with profitability, so maybe they won't take on another loss giving investment.
When AMD took the console business from Nvidia/Intel, they made a cutthroat offer, that Nvidia refused to compete with, and now AMD is dominant and make good money on consoles.

This is one of the economic indicators Russia can't hide, and it's not looking good.
In 2022 when they increased interest rates to 20%, they strengthened the Ruble by a lot, doubling the value of the Ruble.
But the Ruble has been declining since, and now even with nearly as high an interest rate of 19%, The Ruble is almost as low as the dramatic drop in 2022 that caused the interest hike to 20%.
This is the second time in a couple of months they increase interest rates, and combined they are a 3% increase in a short time. And the Ruble remains at a low value.
For anyone in doubt, this is a strong indicator that the Russian economy can't handle the pressure of the war. Russian wages are losing value fast, and investments are very expensive, so a further decline in the Russian economy is likely. Especially since there is no cheap unemployed labor to draw growth from, which there normally would be in a situation of economic decline, but there is already full employment.
The Russian economy is in decline and overheating at the same time.

In Danish to be called Chicken is "Kylling", Which is the non adult bird, and the species is called Høne which sounds like Hen, but in English is the female bird.
Also in Danish when you eat Chicken it is Kylling, which is definitely not the adult bird, where the meat is dry and tough.
So when in English the meat you eat is called chicken, it either sucks or is in reality Pullet.
So why the word pullet isn't more common, or something else describing the non adult female chicken IDK. When in 90% of cases that seems to be what is understood by "Chicken".
But I'm pretty sure when people are called chicken, it is not supposed to mean the male cock.

My old $200 Motorola G9 Power phone lasted almost 4 years with only very minor scratches. Obviously in that period I have dropped it a few times getting out of the car, where the phone sometimes work itself out of my pant pocket while I drive, and then it slips out when I get out of the car. But no problem on my previous phones, despite the Moto had cheap Panda glass front. Then I bought my $800 glass back Xiaomi 13T Pro in January, and I loved the phone for the camera and good specs. But alas after only 4 months, and single drop of just 30 cm while sitting on the porch, the glass back immediately cracked! The back now looks like an ugly mess, and the high water resistance is very likely gone too. For sure the last time I buy a phone with a glass back!!! I wonder why glass back is so popular, and I curse the media for reviewing the Samsung Galaxy S2 as "feeling a bit cheap", because the back was synthetic, and drop tests showed it was 10 times as durable as the iPhone with its glass back. Samsung did it right in the beginning, glass backs are a curse. PS: I don't use condoms for my phones, if they need that for daily use, it's an obvious design flaw!!! The glass back is supposedly there to give a premium feel to the phone. But because it's fragile, people have to use a cover, but with the cover, the premium feel of a glass back is gone anyways? How is glass back not a design flaw? **EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION:** I am not clumsy, that's why I believe the phone should be able to last without cover. This was the first time the phone slid out of my packet, and I've NEVER dropped it out of my hands. One 30 cm slip and it's broken. Where for instance my Moto had maybe 4-6 in all over the years, and remained unscathed, apart from some tiny scratches. The sliding out of pocket does occur maybe a couple of times per year, but it's a low drop, and the phone should absolutely be able to handle that tiny drop, as it's an item for everyday use. I've also never had problems with scratches on my screen on any phone, which is the reason people use screen protectors I guess, which I don't either, because they are ugly, for instance they create a tiny ring around the camera, and they feel awful IMO, my phone came with it, and it took exactly 10 seconds for me to decide to remove it, because I could feel the edge of the screen protector when using the phone. But please stop with the dropping my phone regularly comments! Just because I dropped my Moto a few times (slid out of pocket) over almost 4 years! Always from low height, which it should be able to handle a few times.
Profits were expected to be halved from the 2022 1.2 tn Rubles, but instead they made a loss in 2023 of 629bn Rubles or £5.5bn.
It used to be very convenient that when searching for something that had a geographic location, Google searches used to show a small map which linked to Google maps when pressed. Now all I get i a tiny useless map, that doesn't have any of the feature of Google maps, and often I don't even get that. Anyone know why that is? And if there is a fix? I use Firefox, but I'm guessing it's independent of browser, unless Google is up to their shenanigans again. I've added Google maps as search option, which luckily is dead easy in Firefox to do. At the same time I added Open Street Map, to minimize Google map use to maybe show them they are losing traffic.
