Agreed.
They should have never backed down on the Clinton comment calling them deplorable. They are.

Cool, any idea where i can get a list of instances to try?
i went and searched for a community on Lemmy. Found it, but was logged out so I couldn't create content... tried to login, it says "logged in" in the lower left, but I'm not as it still says "login" at the top right. I tried to find the same community on kbin, and it doesn't exist. I assumed that if lemmy.world could see it, kbin.social could as well, is that not the case? What am I doing wrong?
We have some hops that are starting to go a little rogue that were planted at the edge of our berry garden. Unfortunately they are starting to crowd out our berries and we want to remove the hops. Short of digging them up, is there a safe chemical way that won't impact our berries?

I'm all for coming into the office, but I'm no longer commuting on my own dime. You want me in the office, for some messed up reason, my commute is on the clock.

Anyone know where this is? It sort of looks like something you'd see on the Mayo building in Rochester, but I doubt they have death fighting a doctor.
scratch that
I just google mayo art, and the art on the side of that building was more dark iron looking material.

I feel that Wyoming gets a bad rap, it's not that bad of a state. Some areas, just like all states, are pretty shit.. but I love Wyoming. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could.

Oh, for sure. It's only 120k that separated Trump/Biden in 2020 in Wyo. NYC alone lost almost 500,000 people to pandemic migration.
Montana was only 99k difference between trump/biden.. and we know that a metric SHIT pile of people moved to Montana in 20-23. (Looking at you Bozeangeles)

I've been wondering about this, in particular in a covid, wfh, world. So many people from traditionally liberal areas (SF/NY/LA) moved to red states, I would assume that it would be assist in turning those states more purple, as some of those states (wyoming/montana/Idaho) won't take that many transplants to start that transition.

I've tried using the firefox shortcut on my phone, and it's less than great (imho). I can't type replies, it goes all janky, freezes up, won't go back to the home page, etc. Virtually unuseable.

Yeah, that will be nice if you can migrate your name to other instances... Cheers!

Quick question: I have an account on Lemmy.world and kbin.social.. When trying to post on Lemmy.world it just spins and posts.. so I bopped over to my kbin account and one thing I noticed is that Kbin says it has 39 comments, but Lemmy.world this same post has 139... how do I square this circle?

Well, perhaps other billionaires will see how these folks have been treated, and decide that they'd rather be remembered for doing something great for society, rather than pursuing individual/deadly hobbies.

Someone with way more knowledge about this subject than I can correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I gathered it's good to think of these things like this:
Instances (kbing, lemmy, mastadon, etc) are like Cities. They can function interdependently but do better by being connected (federated) to other cities. If, for example you are like me, and despise a certain city, your city can choose not to connect with that city, but doing so means your citizens won't be able to see/do anything with that city.

If I was living in a red state, and was about child bearing age... i'd be terrified that my obgyn would be leaving sometime during my pregnancy...
I'm really curious about the rate of Doctors leaving these states because of the potential jail time.

IMHO their window, albeit small, was 1/6... after that they saw how those people were treated by the elite instigators....
They were called antifa by the people who riled them up, or fake trump supporters, they are still getting arrested, one got shot, some went to jail... no pardons in site... Lot of people still support this guy, but few will go to bat for him anymore.
Can I block/unsub certain magainzes from other fedis? For example I am getting a lot of .de content, and I can't read the language, and would rather not see it. [\#AskKbin](https://kbin.social/tag/AskKbin)

New to these fedi sites, but isn't there a way to have one login to login across all of them?
I'm a relatively new mtber and I live about 1.5 miles from my closest grocery store. I'm looking for a cheap option to take my ass up to the store to grab some groceries as I don't want to take my mtb because i don't want to get it stolen and it's just not an efficient ride. I don't need anything with storage, as I usually just buy enough to put in my backpack. I'm just looking for something reliable and that gets a decent glide per stroke. Anyone have any suggestions?

I mean, as a parent, I sort of agree that pushing sexual material to subs that weren't in the past, sort of a dick move.. but at the same time, removing/firing people who were moderating the sub for free, is just stupid... What's going to stop people from still posting porn/nsfw material to these subs now that their normal gatekeepers are gone?

I ended up turning to discord, and they were able to fix the issue. It's a setting under general/settings/notifications.
I don't really understand why replies to posts is not turned on by default, imho that should be checked otherwise new users will post, and never get replies, and then think the service is lame/not useful and bail back to reddit. Just my two cents

The part that gets me, is that all nine justices signed a letter saying that they didn't need any oversight (or something along those lines), which leads me to believe that all nine justices have done something similar to this.
