She looks so happy!
Both of our dachshunds just love to climb on whatever they can find when they’re outside. Always gives me a good laugh turning around to find them in weird positions like this
We’ve looked after them both individually before, but their recent stays happened at the same time. Pablo is absolutely obsessed with Whiskey and follows him everywhere!
It took me the better part of a week, but I’m so proud it turned out well.
A day out at the market tuckered then out big time!
The naughtiest of my two would have to be Marble - she’s too smart for her own good! Despite being a very delicate and small mini (5kgs), she managed to knock over a pile of stuff we were intending to move to the spare room, squashed some things down until she could climb them, and got up on the kitchen counter top. Upon reaching the counter top, she immediately ate the last half of an apple tea cake and realised she couldn’t really get down. We found her chilling up there the next morning. A secondary highlight was breaking into the cupboard and gorging herself on her food bag. We got child locks for the cupboard and she chewed them off. We then got different ones to lock the double doors, and she would just weasel her way through the tiny gap under the door. She also chewed through the lid of a plastic tub we attempted to hide the food in. Now all of her biscuits are stored in a food vault in the laundry sink! Some other highlights of things she’s either eaten or tried to eat and been caught: - Half of all of the hot dog buns she managed to leap up and rip off the counter (the plastic was hanging over the edge). She nibbled every single bun in half. - Knocked over the bins (which weigh much more than her) and chewed up a lasagne container (we now have child locks on the bins) - A pile of tissues my partner left unattended while he was sick - An ENTIRE LEG of a pair of tights, and the top of a sock (this one resulted in a vet visit and surgery). She vomited most of it up but they couldn’t get all of it! - A dead possum I had to wrestle out of her mouth - A dead bird I had to wrestle out of her mouth - My newly planted potatoes in the garden Shes not an anxious dog, and happily spends most of the day asleep when we’re not out walking - but she has the food obsession of a Labrador. We’ve basically had to rearrange the house to keep absolutely everything away from her 😆 Shes an angel when you’re watching, but as soon as she thinks she can get away with it when you leave the room, she’ll give it a good go!
It’s winter here, so of course everyone must cram into my lap at once
At least her breath is nice and fresh now!
He’s also the only dog we’ve ever looked after that my grumpy old girl will play with!

Reminds me of when I was looking up an issue for Kali Linux and saw like 10 different reddit threads, all full of “don’t use Kali Linux unless you know how to use it”. Which was very helpful when I had to use it for my coursework.
Side note: the most downvoted comment contained actual advice that fixed my problem.

She had her MacBook on my couch when I sat on it and broke it. Since it was completely my fault I offered to pay her the money for it and she agreed. She got it 3 years ago and it cost 2200 dollars at the time. I told her I'd wire you the money in a week to her bank account. She's now emailed me saying that as per our conversation she's expecting the 2700 that I have agreed for!!!! I didn't know why she added the extra money so I got her number from my friend and called her to find her telling me she's now expecting me to pay for her new upgraded MacBook since she was "upgrading anyway". She said if I don't agree to do that she'll be suing me in small claims court. Can a judge agree to that? Should I wire her the $2,200 or should I just tell her go sue me? I did some research specifically for repairing the screen for the macbook and for her particular model it’s around 310 for the screen + the labor cost so I wrote her back saying that since she didn't accept my initial offer of $2200, I’m withdrawing that offer, and offering to pay for the repair cost. She sent me an email calling me a *removed* and that she’s going to take me to court. I got served a few days later and went to court. I told the judge I gave her three options to choose from. 1) either to write her a check for a brand new one which was 2200 dollars. 2) Get her a refurbished one from apple or a third party or even used which would be around 1400 dollars or 3) fix her current MacBook since the screen is the only thing affected here and it would cost around 300 dollars plus money for labor. (I printed out the email I sent her and the mail she sent back refusing demanding the 2700 and calling me a *removed* and saying we’ll go to court + screenshots for the price quotes from different websites for a new/refurbished and the screen fix for her particular model) and gave it to the judge. I also told him that when I offered at the very beginning to get her a new one from the apple store she said no I want the money in cash. When I told her I’d give her 2200 for a new one she said okay but later came asking for 2700 because she wants to upgrade. I tried to show him how it's clearly visible that she's trying to take advantage of me. She gave the judge an attitude almost the whole time which really pissed the judge off and helped my case I guess. After listening to both of us he ruled that I pay 50% of the repair cost since she negligently left her laptop on the couch. So I'll only be paying not more than 200-250 dollars for the whole thing. If it weren’t for you guys I would’ve paid $2,200 dollars instead of around $200 and I honestly loved her look at the end as we walked out.
Marble is an expert at giving us sad looks when she wants something - in this case she didn’t want to get off the bed so I could make it

Data is encrypted when you access a HTTPS site, but not with HTTP. This means a third party can view your connection to the site, and any information submitted by you.
The connection to HTTP can be exploited, and malicious script can be injected to the response you (the user) receive from the server. This can include ads that drain computer resources (memory, CPU usage), or attempts to exploit vulnerabilities within your operating system/browser. As there is no authentication used with HTTP, there is no way for the user to know if the request/response has been changed.
It is considered generally safe to just browse these sites without inputting sensitive data, but the above is something to be aware of.
