I'd think DC would have a six or so issue trade paperback out sometime next year (2024).

Thanks! I am in the process of moving off of ml instance and creating new communities on a general instance.

Agreed. This looks like a shrewd move by Sakic and MacFarland.

I recently became aware of a user @Valdair@lemmy.world who has reported two posts I made to [!coloradoavalanche@lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml/c/coloradoavalanche) as "Wrong sub". This is not correct. How can I reject these to allow for posts to again display on the community feed?

Feel free to share pictures when you get them. :)
Although I have a lot of nostalgic fondness for the older Reeve films and I enjoyed many aspects of Man of Steel, I think the upcoming film has the potential to be the greatest live action adaptation of the character. At least that is my hope. What do others think?

Great! Thanks! Glad we could get this sorted. I have updated this community and the !krypton community. I'll plan to remove !krypton toward the end of the month.

Pretty big difference between critic (53%) and audience (91%) scores. I'd put it at a 80% personally.

Hearing the music again I get a strong 80's synth vibe, which I greatly enjoy. Also has tones of Orwellian 1984. Next time I watch the show I'll pay more attention to the music. Thanks for sharing!

I saw it last night. It was better than I thought it was going to be given the production difficulties. It was nice to see Keaton Batman again and there was solid humor throughout most of the movie. I enjoyed the first half a lot more than the second half. B-

I share your take to an extent. Fassbender's performance as David was excellent and the character was very interesting. There just wasn't enough going for the rest of either movie to raise it to the same standard as the first three movies for me.
What is the community's thoughts the upcoming movie? Optimistic? Pessimistic? What do we hope to see? I was not a big fan of Prometheus and Covenant, but greatly enjoy Alien, Aliens, and Alien 3 (assembly cut).

Aesthetics look solid. I remain somewhat concerned since OG creators are no longer affiliated with the production.

Thanks for sharing the link. I'll have to look for that '3PO' reference in Heretics. Probably wouldn't have many aspects of Star Wars without Dune existing prior.

What are folk's takes on this show? It has flown under my radar and I have heard or read mixed opinions. Just wondering if I should track it down or wait for the Gunn film to quench my TV/movie Superman thirst?

Thanks for sharing the link. There have been good LotR games in the past, but I am content with the knowledge that there will always be the books and original movies to appreciate. It's ok for fans to pick and choose what adaptations are meaningful to them and perhaps pretend that other don't exist if it isn't up to their standards or tickling their fancy.

I appreciate and do somewhat share the concerns. I plan to go in with an open mind and hope for a fun movie though. Hopefully the early buzz is indicative of a quality flick.

The new direction is very intriguing. The art style reminds me of the Spider-verse movies to a degree. I like what the creative team behind this adaptation has done in the past. I'm an OG TMNT fan from the 80s and 90s, so those will also occupy the center of my green heart, but this upcoming movie has me more excited than any others from the last 10 years. Fingers crossed!

I honestly appreciate every one that there has been, even Adam West Batman. As a kid of the 80s and 90s, I have fond memories of Keaton and Conroy. As a young adult, Bale and the Dark Knight Trilogy remain some of my favorite films. I really enjoyed Pattinson in the role as well. It's great to see so many well-done interpretations of the character. I can't choose a favorite ice cream and apparently I can't choose a favorite Batman.
