Will adding tag to my email protect companies profiling me based on email?

Hello! I use firstname@lastname.me as my email, and trying to stop companies profiling me based on email.

So, i’ll use firstname.blabla@lastname.me For privacy invasive products. Is this enough or should i use completely new email?
