Adult fiction seems to just be fiction that has detailed sex scenes. Is there a genre of fiction that's about serious adult topics that isn't sex scenes?

I'm not really interested in sex scenes, but I am interested in other topics that might not be suitable for like teen books or fiction or whatnot.

Does the genre I'm looking for have some kind of name?
