They were expelled from the club five years later when park security guards found the husband intoxicated in the park, a violation of club rules. The couple has since spent $400,000 suing to regain access to the club and ‘clear his reputation,’ claiming he was not drunk but suffering from a “vestibular migraine” which looks a lot like being drunk and can be triggered by red wine. They claim they were targeted for retaliation because they complained about a different club member harassing other club members and staff. The couple plan to appeal.
