What we see here is Kadochnikov grabing a student from the arms and displacing him in a way so that his center of gravity is affected, and balance can't be retained unless the student assumes a new position. This could be compared with a plane, where its wings represent the student's arms. Here is a graphical representation of the gravity axis: 
I found the digitized version of some documents my teacher gave me, he told me this would be a good introductory articles for beginners (I have been practicing for a year now). Maybe if you don't have the slightest idea this will not be that useful, but in the company of someone that can guide you and someone with whom you can practice (even if they, or you, don't have knowledge of Systema, knowledge of some other martial arts also help in great amounts) will allow you to improve. If you have any doubts while reading these, don't doubt about asking me, as I said I am not an expert but I may be able to satisfy your doubts. Sadly I couldn't find a place that would allow me to store the files permanently, so they'll last only a month, anyway, if you read this too late, let me know and I'll upload them again.

If y'all haven't been finding the time to learn about subjects from first aid to nature, hot and cold weather survival to nutrition, fear regulation to biomechanics, y'all should probably look into it.
For a lot of years I am observing one vital misunderstanding of Systema and its real-world application. MA people often suppose that Systema principles are bullshido and can not be applied in MA situations. Well, they are at least partially right. Systema has a solid inner paradox. Systema is a military, combat philosophy. A set of principles guiding primordial survival and killing your opponent. Literally. Not winning a comfortable martial arts contest in some warm and cozy dojo. And when you try to use these principles on its full – you automatically transpose the battlefield into a MA match. And no known MA rules would allow this, so you "lose". Still, take it or leave it. This is the very history and inner philosophy of Russian "MAs". As these are not martial arts. These were practices of 1000 year survival in the face of permanent battles with waves of nomadic invaders, treacherous greedy neighbors, European expansionary and cruel Nordic nature. When you use Systema, you exit childish games of warm rules. And contact a chthonic realm of simple and cold natural survival. This is not for anyone.
