Hi all I recently picked this game up with three of my pals and we are enjoying the little voyages so far. Looking for the burried treasure, fighting off some skeletons and even some sea warfare (only fougt PVE so far). I was just wondering, is this it? There is no weapon/character progression apart from the skins from what I can tell. We have not seen a single player run ship out in the sea (saw some twice in a port) so we are wondering is this just a very repetitive PVE? Can't be since this game is going strong since 2018 Thanks CoachDom P.S. I play on the High Seas
I'm just reading about the game as a newbie, and it seems like if you get jumped while carrying loot, there's all to lose, but nothing to gain. I just want to clarify, does the aggressor have anything to lose, other than their time? Does the attacked player have anything to gain if they win instead of running away (other than experience?) If not, shouldn't there be some detriment to starting and losing a PvP battle, even if you had no loot onboard?

I recently got the game to play something exciting and cooperative with my children which also requires some coordination such as handling sailing etc. I think this instance is also probably the best fitting for this sort of game Currently still in Safer Seas while learning the ropes, especially as the children are still not very good at the controls. Anyone else playing around here?
