They recently released the closed beta, and gave streamers HEAPS of keys. Jump on any of the streamers playing Battle Aces and enter their giveaways. I managed to snag a key for myself yesterday. https://twitch.tv/directory/category/battle-aces ---- So far: - works on Linux via proton-GE - 10 minute maximum games which I really like having a family. I can jump on have a quick 1v1 and jump off - instant build for units makes for a unique mechanic and honestly is quite fun - 1v1 was instant queue times - 2v2 (with a friend) took over 5 minutes, not sure if bug, or no-one was on - region based queues I think, and you can change it in the options All in all I could see myself playing this for at least 2 months on this single map, and with more maps I could play it for a long time

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance with the LOUD mod is the greatest RTS ever created. Nothing modern gets even close to the level of detail and scale this game has. 10s of thousands of units all with real projectiles can than be dodged. Get some friends together or play by yourself. Up to 16 players in a match. Awesome AI with lots of configuration so Co-Op play is actually fun, you can tune the AI easily to present a challenge but still not get wrecked instantly. Skip subcom 2 tho that shit's trash... I am so excited. I wish I could have an invite for this summer closed beta but I highly doubt so. They're legitimately giving invites to people really involved in the community.
