I know this is mainly a lib heartwarming story but I am just really happy that people with differently abled people can find escapism in them. Worth the 15 minute watch. Does anyone know more about games which were made with people with various disabilities in mind?

About anarcho_gaming

Dear all, and welcome to c/anarcho_gaming! We are a group of anarchists building a safe space to enjoy escapism in gaming together. This includes: Videogames, Boardgames and Pen and Paper RPGs and much more. Our group defines itself as: * LGBTQIA* inclusive * anti-capitalistic * anti-racist, -ableist, -sexist We are open to welcome any anarchist or person that is interested in anarchistic forms of organization; we hold general plenary sessions on a monthly basis and share as much joy as we can with each other. However we are currently still figuring some things out. While we already have over 40 people associating themselves with our group we do not yet have the infrastructure to allow people to randomly join - something we are however working on. If you are interested in participating please reach out to the people mentioned at the end of the post here on lemmy; they will guide you through the process of joining anarcho-gaming. This is not the way we want to do it in the future as it doesn't seem very anarchist, however we want to ensure that people which are already present feel comfortable with new people joining. Thank you! List of contacts on lemmy: [@Rainer_Provokateur@lemmy.ml](/u/Rainer_Provokateur)

Hey, you were banned since your profile picture looks like a pepe with a Hitler mustache. If that was a mistake we'll unban you. :) You can introduce yourself in the introduction channel then. :) Sorry for the inconvenience.

We do! There are many FOSS enthusiasts in the community so there's no reason why we ever would reject open source games. :)

I'd argue that pirating them is ethical as well. :person shrugging: While gaming certainly is escapism we can see the same mechanics working as e.g. in Football with people rooting behind their -- perceived -- team; an alienation within class structure and struggle. As creatives in the industry are underpaid, underappreciated and massively exploited I feel it's a fair response.

Frens are frens. Companies are not frens.

Just a painfully true meme for the start.
